Join your comrades and face a team of computer-controlled bots. There are multiple battle modes to choose from. You can access battle modes by clicking the dropdown menu next to "BATTLE!" at the top of the Port screen. Use Doubloons to purchase consumables, camouflage, premium ships, and train commanders. Premium players are rewarded with Doubloons, the in-game currency of World of Warships. When you reach level 7, you can assign a commander to each vessel to boost the performance in various beneficial ways for combat. You can upgrade your ship with enhanced weapons and defenses. Level up and unlock more content, upgrades, and rewards as you become a seasoned naval captain. Commandeer your ship through a range of game modes, conquer your enemies and reap the rewards. There's also a delightful interview with the CEO of Wargaming Victor Kislyi written up by the lovely Graham here, which I really like because Graham goes out of his way to tell us that Victor has a cold, which endears me to both interviewer and interviewee.World of Warships features an extensive progression system.
